Kat is an experienced Ashtanga practitioner and teacher passionate about helping students unlock their potential. With a deep understanding of the practice and an emphasis on approachable, step-by-step teaching, Kat specializes in guiding practitioners to move with strength, grace, and ease.

Week 1: Foundations of Backbending

A strong backbend starts with the right foundations. We’ll establish key movement patterns to ensure your backbends feel powerful and sustainable from the start.

Week 2: Opening the Front Body for Backbends

True depth in backbending comes from the ability to open the front body. This week, we’ll focus on the psoas, hip flexors, and chest to create more ease and expansion.

Week 3: Overcoming Fear and Stagnation

Fear and hesitation can limit backbending progress. This session will guide you through safe, progressive approaches to build trust and confidence in deeper backbends.

Week 4: Deepening Backbends Safely

Going deeper should feel empowering, not risky. This final week refines your technique, helping you progress while avoiding common pitfalls.
